Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 16, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Inno Software ("we", "us"), a sole
proprietorship registered in the Republic of Korea, handles personal information in
connection with this website (innosw.net) and the Inno S3 Streaming Add-on
(the "Software").
1. Information we collect
| Category | Examples | Source / purpose |
|---|---|---|
| Purchase information | Name, email address, company name, country, tax ID (where applicable) | Collected by Paddle (our merchant of record) at checkout to process your order, taxes, and invoices. Paddle shares order details with us so we can issue your license. |
| Licensing information | Licensee name, email, AWS account ID(s), license edition and term | Provided by you; embedded in your signed license key and kept in our license ledger to manage renewals and support. |
| Support communications | Emails you send to support@innosw.net and their contents | Provided by you; used to respond to your requests. |
| Website data | Standard server logs (IP address, user agent) kept by our hosting provider (Cloudflare) | Security and operation of the website. We do not run advertising or tracking cookies on this site. |
What we do not collect: the Software performs license verification locally (offline) and has no telemetry, no analytics, and no phone-home. Your S3 objects and Splunk events never reach us.
2. How we use information
- To provide, license, and support the Software;
- To process orders, renewals, and refunds (via Paddle);
- To send transactional emails about your license (e.g., expiry reminders);
- To comply with legal obligations (tax, accounting).
We do not sell personal information, and we do not use it for advertising.
3. Sharing
We share personal information only with:
- Paddle — merchant of record for payments, taxes, invoicing, and refunds (see Paddle's privacy policy);
- Service providers — email (Zoho Mail) and website hosting (Cloudflare), strictly to operate our business;
- Authorities — where required by applicable law.
4. International transfers
We are located in the Republic of Korea; our service providers (Paddle, Cloudflare, Zoho) may process data in other countries. Where required, transfers rely on appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses.
5. Retention
We keep purchase and licensing records for as long as needed to manage your license and to satisfy legal retention obligations (e.g., Korean tax law), then delete or anonymize them. Support emails are kept as long as reasonably necessary to provide support.
6. Your rights
Depending on your jurisdiction (including the EU/UK GDPR, the CCPA, and the Korean Personal Information Protection Act), you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or port your personal information, and to object to certain processing. To exercise these rights, email support@innosw.net. You may also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority.
7. Security
License records are kept in access-controlled systems; license keys are generated with the signing key stored offline. We apply reasonable technical and organizational measures appropriate to the small volume and low sensitivity of the data we handle.
8. Children
This website and the Software are business tools and are not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
9. Changes
We will post any changes to this policy on this page with an updated date.
